I currently primarily work at Chelsfield Park Hospital, a private BMI hospital.

I initially graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1993 from St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London. I have a strong military background working as a therapist but I have also gained my experience working in private hospitals, the National Health Service, private practice and working with sports teams, in particular rugby.

My experience is particularly in back / neck pain and related symtoms, work related pain, stress related pain, sports injuries and biomechanics........ but the list could be endless!

My area of expertise is particularly in treating the body as a whole.  I trained as a Craniosacral Therapist in 2001/2002 at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London, which gives me a holistic approach to care and as such I provide a gentle but hugely effective treatment both when working as a physiotherapist or craniosacral therapist.

I have a personal interest in treating people that do martial arts (in particular aikido!), sports people, especially runners, golfers and any back or neck related problems.  I have treated people with all sorts of different lifestyles and find it imperative when treating an injury or pain, to empathise with the whole person.

I have just recently qualified as a Chi Kung instructor (www.elementalchikung.com) and I am also exploring my new skills using abdominal sacral massage. More information can be found at www.abdominal-sacralmassage.com.

'When the only tool you have is a hammer, it's amazing how quickly everything becomes a nail.'   Everyone is unique and should be treated as such with a plan that fits that individual person.
