Michele now works at Sevenoaks Manor Physiotherapy Clinic and is also based in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells. Home visits in the local area can also be arranged.
Michele says:
"I initially graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1993 from St Mary’s Hospital
in Paddington, London. I have a strong military background working as a
therapist but I have also expanded my experience and holistic approach working in private
hospitals, the National Health Service, private practice and working
with sports teams, in particular rugby. I most recently worked at Chelsfield Park Hospital, a private BMI Hospital..
I really enjoy treating back and neck pain and related symtoms. This could include work related pain, stress or a multitude of other factors. You would be amazed how often shoulder pain or even wrist or ankle problems can be related back to a restriction at our core.
The key I feel is understanding the person as a whole.
I also have extensive experience with sports injuries and biomechanics.......again requiring an assessment of the whole person!
I trained as a Craniosacral Therapist in 2001/2002 at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London, which
gives me a holistic approach to care and as such I provide a gentle but
hugely effective treatment both when working as a physiotherapist and/or
craniosacral therapist.
I have also qualified as a chi kung instructor (www.elementalchikung.com) and abdominal sacral massage. More information can be found at www.abdominal-sacralmassage.com.
'When the only tool you have is a hammer, it's amazing how quickly everything becomes a nail.' Everyone is unique and should be treated as such with a plan that fits that individual person."
